boo.
it's raining. alot.
also, getting cold. brr.
DIRECTLY RELATED TO THOSE THOUGHTS.
I want a cat, or a bunny, or a dog, or SOMETHING. Not necessarily here in japan, but when I get back.
The problem being of course that I will probably be in living in very small aparments for some time to come. Maybe a teacup bunny/cat/dog? They make those right?
...
Also, know what I hate? When people take pictures of me that I don't know. I mean, I don't care if they ask even. I *still* wouldn't want them to take pictures of me.
That being said, boy o boy do do Iove taking pictures of other people. I'm pretty sure that 99% of the people I take pictures of I would forget about in 3 minutes if I hadn't captured them digitally, but once I *have* captured them, then I have these strangers locked away in that slice of time forever.
bwahahahaa.
...
yeah.

Shopping in japan is quite the trip.
On one hand you have the MEGA STORES. The likes of which are only equaled by malls back in america. Except these AREN'T malls. They are ONE SINGLE STORE. Usually the said store sells a bunch of different items, but all the same, it's one store.
Really, if you want to see EVERY CAMERA, EVERY DISHWASHER, and EVERY ETHERNET PLUG EVER MADE. You go to one of these stores. I quite honestly have no idea how it can even stay profitable.
On the other hand you have the tiny, cramped, and seemingly catacomb esque store mazes. In these most stores are usually under ten square feet, and it's not uncommon to find the store itself comprising only of a front stand with just enough room in the back for the owner to sit on a small wooden stool.
But don't be fooled. Although they don't usually sell the larger more expensive items, you can still find every version of X, Y OR Z if you look in the right places. From the looks of some of these stalls Japan must have the most industrious and thriving mad scientest/fix it up community in the world.
Anyways, so like I previously stated I'm on break right now (although I still have work to do for classes), and currently alternate between relaxing at home (or to be more honest, trapped at home while a typhoon tears apart the world outside my window), and heading into tokyo to just sort of bob around and explore as much as I can.
I'm feeling very zen these days. Maybe this is because nothing bad has happened for awhile, but just overall life feels like it's flowing very smoothly.
haha, of course this feeling is slightly muddied by that feeling that if nothing bad has happened for awhile then something bad is BOUND to happen soon. But, you know, I'm good at repressing those sorts of feelings anyways.
ommmmmmmm.

Sweetie I love you so much! I miss you. I'm sorry I couldn't talk longer this morning. 66 days!
I love the voyeuristic pictures, probably because I have that instinct, too. I especially like the one of the business man framed in the doorway. And the sanitation worker. AND YOU!
